What is the best way to see American and/or BBC broadcasting while living in Korea?
I am moving to South Korea in September. I was wondering if there is a simple way to access US and or UK broadcasting while there? Also is Korean tv ever broadcast in English?

- You can see several English channels like CNN, BBC, and so on by subscribing Cable TV. And you can alseo see Arirang TV (http://www.arirang.co.kr ) for foreigners in Korea. Furthermore, some movie channels may use Korean subtitles so you can see them.
- We have a Skylife satellite dish, which costs about 18,000 won per month. On that you can get BBC entertainment, BBC World, CNN, Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geographic, and OnStyle (for 'Oprah', 'Friends', 'House' etc.), as well as about 4 or 5 channels that have different English movies and programming but are not exclusively English. We had cable before but switched to this because it give you the best overall selection of English programmes. Arirang TV is available on both cable or satellite, but I have to say that unless you are really into Korean soaps with English subtitles or documentaries on kimchi making it is painfully boring.
